Vagabonding Journey Planner

I consider myself lucky & blessed for all the opportunities I had over the years, for interesting renaissance life experiences and traveling is one of the habits I value at premium for richness it brought to my thought process, tolerance, understanding oneness in diversity, appreciation for life, home and time.

OK Iam not a Vagabond. I am a common man with desire for certain level of material comforts. But I always wondered for long-term travel and excused myself due to lack of money and time. Reading Vagabonding: An Uncommon Guide to the Art of Long-Term World Travel, by Rolf Potts made me realize, may be I don't lack resources but desire to make such a journey. and may be my Indian DNA structure is constantly mapping my interest in the context of family, friends, material success and appreciate for all of those since billion others at our doorsteps lack those. [/my Review @ Journey with Books: Vagabonding by Rolf Potts]

I subscribe to view that Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention to arrive safely in a pretty & well preserved body; but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming 'Wow! What a ride!' and purpose of life is to live it, to taste it, to experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience. May be this very thought can make me constantly challenge my comfort-zone to make such a journey.

But Challenges is not the lifestyle or resources but emotional support system. To find a partner in crime who share view & energy for such exploration. One thing I certainty don't want to do- is to gain rich life experience and not have enough people f/or enough time around me to share those rich life experience.

May be along with Art of Traveling, I need to learn of Art of Balancing. And May be for Starters, I should map my travel and pen down my experience. Vagadoner Blog Page coming soon not sure how soon is soon...

well that was awesome man....really u share lot of common thought with me...traveling every nook and corner of the world ,meeting people of all cultures and tasting their cuisines is a different passion altogether..and a life partner who is all along with us to share our experience would be a blessing..
